There was an operation that was carried out by the Kenyan police in IFO, one midnight when many of the refugees in the blocks of D6 and D5 were knocked their doors and in the search of suspects asking them identification cards. Many innocent refugees were seriously impacted after Kenyan police had started going into the houses of the refugees and torturing innocent families. Some residents blamed that they were taken from some money and we're ever taken to the at which they were the inhumanity mistreated. <br />

In this April holiday many students had gone to a small picnics to the other places like Garissa and other camps for leisure, since they have no access to the inside of Kenya many students are also doing their private revisions in schools and attending remedial learning in the market, this is the stage where serious students are always taking opportunities in revisiting the learned lessons. <br />

The Kenyan government declared urgent closing of Dadaab camps. This caused impact to the general way of life in the camps, Many people closed down their shop's many drivers became jobless after people reduced their transports from camp to others, the fate of many schools going children is unknown where they will finish their studies or end up in staying in the camps as locals. Citizen Digital understands that Mr. Nyakundi was rushed to the hospital after developing shock symptoms while at the Muthaiga Police Station where he had been detained for interrogation on the fatal shooting.<br />

He was expected to be arraigned in court on Monday on a miscellaneous application for the prosecution to obtain more time to conclude investigations into the incident.<br />

Mr. Nyakundi, who reported the shooting at Muthaiga Police Station, told police that the incident occurred at 1pm on Sunday as he was driving to his Muthaiga North home from ICC Church on Mombasa Road with his 29-year-old son Joseph Nyakundi<br />

He claims that as they neared his house, he reached for his pistol from the right seat pouch and in the process to holster the gun he ‘accidentally’ pulled the trigger, shooting his son, who was on the back seat of the Toyota Axio car, in the chest.<br />

There was an operation that was carried out by the Kenyan police in IFO, one midnight when many of the refugees in the blocks of D6 and D5 were knocked their doors and in the search of suspects asking them identification cards. Many innocent refugees were seriously impacted after Kenyan police had started going into the houses of the refugees and torturing innocent families. Some residents blamed that they were taken from some money and we're ever taken to the at which they were the inhumanity mistreated. <br />

In this April holiday many students had gone to a small picnics to the other places like Garissa and other camps for leisure, since they have no access to the inside of Kenya many students are also doing their private revisions in schools and attending remedial learning in the market, this is the stage where serious students are always taking opportunities in revisiting the learned lessons. <br />

The Kenyan government declared urgent closing of Dadaab camps. This caused impact to the general way of life in the camps, Many people closed down their shop's many drivers became jobless after people reduced their transports from camp to others, the fate of many schools going children is unknown where they will finish their studies or end up in staying in the camps as locals. Hello, welcome to our writer’s club news from IFO secondary students’ young writers; <br />
I am Ahmed Idiris, the chairperson of the young writers club in IFO secondary school I am here to give a little bit of the news surrounding the schools and the camps.<br />
There was an operation that was carried out by the Kenyan police in IFO, one midnight when many of the refugees in the blocks of D6 and D5 were knocked their doors and in the search of suspects asking them identification cards. Many innocent refugees were seriously impacted after Kenyan police had started going into the houses of the refugees and torturing innocent families. Some residents blamed that they were taken from some money and we're ever taken to the at which they were the inhumanity mistreated. <br />
April Holidays<br />
In this April holiday many students had gone to a small picnics to the other places like Garissa and other camps for leisure, since they have no access to the inside of Kenya many students are also doing their private revisions in schools and attending remedial learning in the market, this is the stage where serious students are always taking opportunities in revisiting the learned lessons. <br />
Dadaab closure announcement<br />
The Kenyan government declared urgent closing of Dadaab camps. This caused impact to the general way of life in the camps, Many people closed down their shop's many drivers became jobless after people reduced their transports from camp to others, the fate of many schools going children is unknown where they will finish their studies or end up in staying in the camps as locals. I am Ahmed Idiris, the chairperson of the young writers club in IFO secondary school I am here to give a little bit of the news surrounding the schools and the camps.<br />
There was an operation that was carried out by the Kenyan police in IFO, one midnight when many of the refugees in the blocks of D6 and D5 were knocked their doors and in the search of suspects asking them identification cards. Many innocent refugees were seriously impacted after Kenyan police had started going into the houses of the refugees and torturing innocent families. Some residents blamed that they were taken from some money and we're ever taken to the at which they were the inhumanity mistreated. <br />

In this April holiday many students had gone to a small picnics to the other places like Garissa and other camps for leisure, since they have no access to the inside of Kenya many students are also doing their private revisions in schools and attending remedial learning in the market, this is the stage where serious students are always taking opportunities in revisiting the learned lessons. <br />

The Kenyan government declared urgent closing of Dadaab camps. This caused impact to the general way of life in the camps, Many people closed down their shop's many drivers became jobless after people reduced their transports from camp to others, the fate of many schools going children is unknown where they will finish their studies or end up in staying in the camps as locals. Algeria’s doctors have called for mass protests against Abdulaziz Bouteflika during the country’s independence day celebrations on Tuesday, ratcheting up pressure on the ailing president who is clinging to power.<br />

In a statement released on Monday, the independent Collective of Algerian Medical Residents (CAMRA) urged medical students to take part and denounce the “ruling gangs”.<br />
<br />
Algerians are desperate for new leaders to replace Bouteflika and other veterans of the 1954-1962 war of independence against France who dominate the country.<br />
<br />
The president, in power for 20 years, announced last week that he was reversing a decision to stand for a fifth term, but stopped short of standing down. He has postponed elections and promised to adopt a new constitution under a reform plan.<br />
<br />
The changes have brought no halt to demonstrations under way for more than three weeks against a ruling elite viewed as out of touch with a population suffering from economic hardship and corruption. Bouteflika, 82, has rarely been seen in public since a stroke in 2013, and protesters say he is unfit to rule.<br />
<br />
Since returning from medical treatment in Switzerland last week, the president has been losing allies, including senior members of the ruling National Liberation Front party, known by its French acronym FLN.<br />
<br />
In the latest blow to the ruling elite, leaders of 13 independent Algerian labor unions refused to support Prime Minister Noureddine Bedoui’s efforts to form a cabinet.<br />
<br />
“We will not hold discussions with this system, we belong to the people and the people said ‘No’ to the system,” Boualem Amora, a leader of an education union, told reporters.<br />
<br />
The prime minister planned to announce a new cabinet early this week.<br />
<br />
Newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister Ramtane Lamamra is expected to start a tour on Tuesday of some of Algeria’s main allies abroad to explain the new political roadmap, said a foreign ministry official. The tour will start on Tuesday with a visit to Moscow, Algeria’s most important military ally.<br />
<br />
It will also include EU countries and China, which has invested billions of dollars in Algeria, pouring cash into housing and public works projects.<br />
<br />
Protests have been mostly peaceful and the military, which is expected to keep playing its influential behind-the-scenes role as a power broker, has stayed in its barracks.<br />

City lawyer Assa Nyakundi was Sunday evening admitted to the Nairobi Hospital after he shot and killed his son in what he claims was an accident.<br />

Citizen Digital understands that Mr. Nyakundi was rushed to the hospital after developing shock symptoms while at the Muthaiga Police Station where he had been detained for interrogation on the fatal shooting.<br />

He was expected to be arraigned in court on Monday on a miscellaneous application for the prosecution to obtain more time to conclude investigations into the incident.<br />
<br />
Mr. Nyakundi, who reported the shooting at Muthaiga Police Station, told police that the incident occurred at 1pm on Sunday as he was driving to his Muthaiga North home from ICC Church on Mombasa Road with his 29-year-old son Joseph Nyakundi<br />

He claims that as they neared his house, he reached for his pistol from the right seat pouch and in the process to holster the gun he ‘accidentally’ pulled the trigger, shooting his son, who was on the back seat of the Toyota Axio car, in the chest.<br />

The lawyer said the son was pronounced dead on arrival at the Aga Khan hospital where he rushed him.<br />
<br />
“The reportee who is a civilian firearm holder has been detained to assist in further investigations. The said firearm loaded with 14 rounds of 9mm and the m/v have been kept as exhibits,” said police.<br />

The body of the deceased was moved to the Aga Khan University Hospital mortuary as investigations into the incident continue.<br />

City lawyer Assa Nyakundi was Sunday evening admitted to the Nairobi Hospital after he shot and killed his son in what he claims was an accident.<br />

Citizen Digital understands that Mr. Nyakundi was rushed to the hospital after developing shock symptoms while at the Muthaiga Police Station where he had been detained for interrogation on the fatal shooting.<br />

He was expected to be arraigned in court on Monday on a miscellaneous application for the prosecution to obtain more time to conclude investigations into the incident.<br />

Mr. Nyakundi, who reported the shooting at Muthaiga Police Station, told police that the incident occurred at 1pm on Sunday as he was driving to his Muthaiga North home from ICC Church on Mombasa Road with his 29-year-old son Joseph Nyakundi<br />

He claims that as they neared his house, he reached for his pistol from the right seat pouch and in the process to holster the gun he ‘accidentally’ pulled the trigger, shooting his son, who was on the back seat of the Toyota Axio car, in the chest.<br />

The lawyer said the son was pronounced dead on arrival at the Aga Khan hospital where he rushed him.<br />

Reflecting on the polycentric game design brainstorming sessions with some of the Dadaab students in the BHER learning center, I had a small session with Ochan Robert, who is a graduate student of York University, and also with Dahabo, who is an undergraduate student: the latter is near finishing her Bachelor degree in education with York University. Together, we brainstormed ideas for my proposed Rebuilding Mogadishu game, and I gave an overview of my game: “My game is based on the idea that Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, has also been in war for so long and I think using gaming to teach the civilians is the only way out of war and conflict, this is an important move, and developing a game model to reconstruct the capital city is one idea I hold on to”. <br />
And this is what Ochan said: my future Somalia game should be reuniting the Somali people inside and outside the country, and it should also include the symbols of unity, peace, and reconciliation. And Dahabo also brought the idea that my game should bring hope and success to the young girls whose rights had been violated, and especially to the day's women who, during the days of the conflict, had undergone torture and experienced stigma. The game should be a narrative and simulation that builds the economy of the country. For Ochan, he also noted that the game should provide the rehabilitation and reconstructions of all the infrastructures of Somali big cities like Mogadishu. But according to my thought, I want to be a university teacher trying to change the system, and make lives better, though educationand building stability.<br />
The situation and experience of the game should mitigate the depression, trauma, and stress that occurred during the prolonged wars in Somalia. The player feels stress while playing the game as they empathize with the avatar in the game. The game will make them feel they are in some other people’s worlds and stories, and in the game the player will experiences the looks of Mogadishu before the civil war, as well as how it currently how it looks. And in the game some Somali patriots may feel sorrow or even cry as they play. In the game, the future Mogadishu will looks different, and this has led us to compare the future Mogadishu game with the already-existing Konza city in Machakos Kenya, which was mapped by the Kenyan government and, as planned, Konza looks nice through artist’s imaginations and planning? The city will be a small town in Machakos: it is located 160 kilometers south of Nairobi. This city has already begun to be constructed and their hope is by 2020, Kenya will have the tallest buildings in this city in history. This is a good idea and will be a good beginning for my future rebuilding Mogadishu game, though stability and dynamic educational systems will be more important than tall building, because I will also use their ideas to make out of Mogadishu as a Konza city. <br />
By negotiating increasingly complex challenges through the gameplay, my experience is that if this games we translate it to the Somali schools' system, many ideas could have emerged and improvements could have been made through the use of the Somali community.
